INTRODUCTION:

The Sindh Innovation, Research, and Education Network (SIREN) working under the auspices of the Government of Sindh, and the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) is organizing a lecture entitled, “A guide to write a research paper”. All research scholars, student scientists, and faculty of universities are cordially invited to attend this important lecture.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:  

Scientific research plays a very important role in our efforts to health care and combating diseases. Research helps us create new knowledge and develop proper tools for the use of existing knowledge enabling health care providers to diagnose and treat diseases. Research also provides evidence for managing health hazards and treating new diseases We must be aware of the importance of writing a research paper research. The lack of available literature on this subject and not knowing the methodology of writing a paper has been realized recently. I will be discussing in this presentation how to write a research paper and how important it is to publish your scientific research.

 

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Dr. Fahim Ahmed Shah is an E.N.T. Specialist Academician & Google scholar. He has expertise in the field of research and has a passion in improving health and well-being in this fraternity of more than 35 years, which is obvious in his academic endeavors mounting more than 100 international papers. In 1996, he worked in the capacity of Phase II E.N.T. surgeon in the National Survey for Causes of Deafness, and Common Ear diseases conducted by M.O.H., Oman in collaboration with W.H.O.

He has worked for the National Ear Health Care Programme in the training of primary care doctors and nurses. He has published many papers and has presented many papers at national and international forums and conferences. He has been a member of the editorial board of many international journals, and is the author of chapters of different international books.
