ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Dr Javad Mirnajafi-Zadeh is a Faculty Member in Department of Physiology in Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. He got his MSc and PhD in Physiology from Tarbiat Modares University in 1994 and 1999. He was also a Research Scientist in RIKEN/BSI (Lab for cortical circuit plasticity), Japan from 2010-2015. Now, he is the head of “Brain Stimulation and Plasticity lab” in Tarbiat Modares University. He was the Head of Physiology Department at Tarbiat Modares University for 8 years, a council member of FAOPS (Federation of Asian and Oceania Physiological Societies) since 2019-2023, and a Council member of Iranian Society of Physiology and Pharmacology and Iranian Society of Neuroscience. He has more than 150 peer-reviewed published articles and his H-index is 30.
