The Sindh Innovation, Research, and Education Network (SIREN) working under the auspices of the Government of Sindh, and the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) is organizing a hybrid workshop entitled, “Digital Twins: Bridging AI and Health Sciences through Virtual Patient and Disease Models”.  Research scholars, Students, Scientists, Professionals, and Faculty of SIREN-affiliated universities are cordially invited to attend this important workshop.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

With over 20 years of teaching/research experience, presently

Dr. Humera Tariq is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science (UBIT), University of Karachi. She is a passionate scientist with the ability to design and execute experiments to advance research objectives. Dr. Humera has a strong understanding of AI models, ML Algorithms (XGBoost) and architectures, including CNNs, LLMs, diffusion models, and GANs, both theoretically and as a practitioner.

Dr. Humera is a highly organized, collaborative team-scientist with project management skills to keep projects on time and on budget to completion. Skilled in translating complex scientific concepts into easily understood terms. Work well independently and in a team. Excellent communication skills. She is embracing the challenges of cutting-edge AI development. She has published high-quality international/national research papers and reviewed Journal Neuroimage, Springer Nature. Board member JMRI. Michigan University Postdoc Association (UMPDA).
