INTRODUCTION:

The Sindh Innovation, Research, and Education Network (SIREN) working under the auspices of the Government of Sindh, and the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) is organizing a workshop entitled, “Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015”.  Research scholars, Students, Scientists, Professionals, and faculty of SIREN-affiliated universities are cordially invited to attend this important workshop to show how environmental change and human actions are interconnected.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:  

ISO 14001:2015 is the internationally recognized standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Participants will learn about the structure, requirements, and purpose of ISO 14001:2015.

Environmental Impact Assessment: Understanding how to identify and assess environmental aspects and impacts within an organization.

Risk-Based Thinking: Participants explore risk management within the context of environmental management.

PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) Approach: Participants learn how to plan, implement, monitor, and adjust environmental management processes effectively.

Benefits and Implementation: Participants also gain insights info to implementing ISO 14001 effectively within their organizations.

 

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Engr. Zulfiqar A. Dhakan, P.E is a Certified Management System Trainer in Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2015, Environment Management System ISO 14001:2015, Food Safety Management System ISO 22000:2018, Halal “PS:3733-2022 (R) OIC/SMIIC1: 2019. Global GAP., HACCP, GMP, and Health & Safety Management System ISO 45001:2018, having 40 years of professional experience in Conducting QHSE, HACCP & GMP, and Energy Audits and Trainings.

As a professional Trainer/Consultant he is affiliated with ZADTech International. Canada, NPO, SYM-KU, DUET, MUET, PSQCA, KTDMC, PCSIR, and Bahria University.
