It gives me an immense pleasure to invite you to the international Workshop on “Animal Electrophysiology” to be held at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, in collaboration with ScienceBeam Company, Türkiye, OIC-COMSTECH Secretariat, Islamabad, and Sindh Innovation Research and Education Network (SIREN), on September 2, 2023. Electrophysiology techniques measure the electrical activity, allowing scientists to decode intercellular and intracellular messages. These techniques can answer systems-level questions, such as the role of a neuron in a neural circuit or behavior The importance of electrophysiology in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, and other Bio-Sciences is well recognized. It is therefore, necessary to initiate programs to develop expertise and to train human resources. This workshop will include lecture regarding different techniques of Extracellular Electrophysiology. The participants will learn the theoretical and practical aspects of EEG recording in an anesthetic and freely moving animal model
