The Director ICCBS cordially invites you to attend the awareness lecture on Gastrointestinal Infections and Zoonotic Diseases Associated with Eid-al-Azha: Risks, Prevention, and Management Jointly organized by Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD), International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, in collaboration with Sindh Innovation, Research, and Education Network (SIREN) is regularly organizing popular lectures on the topics of general interest. The objective is to raise public awareness about the most important current challenges, which our nation is facing.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Dr. Saman Nadeem is a Consultant Clinical Microbiologist and a Sectional Head Microbiology, National Medical Centre, Karachi. She has had a distinguished career in healthcare, and establishing infectious diseases and infection control departments in various private hospitals in Karachi. Her Key areas of interest are Clinical Microbiology, Infection Control, Antibiotic stewardship. She has been affiliated with under grad and post grad teaching also she has around 20 publications. She has a significant contribution in implementing antimicrobial stewardship and infection control policies as a clinical microbiologist.
