INTRODUCTION:
The Sindh Innovation, Research, and Education Network (SIREN) working under the auspices of the Government of Sindh and the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) are organizing a hybrid workshop entitled, “Professional Integrity.” Professional integrity is the practice of maintaining appropriate ethical behavior. It is the practice of showing strong adherence to moral and ethical principles and values such as honesty, honor, dependability, and trustworthiness.
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
To improve credibility and professionalism for employers.
To learn about the lives of role models, and successful businessmen, entrepreneurs, public servants, and servicemen in Pakistan.
To the practice of showing strong adherence to moral and ethical principles, and values such as honesty, honor, dependability, and trustworthiness.
COURSE DELIVERY:
This workshop is organized by the Sindh Innovation Research and Education Network (SIREN) and is coordinated by the Latif Ebrahim Jamal National Sciences Information Center, ICCBS, University of Karachi. It will be conducted on campus and online through Zoom Meeting.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is designed for Staff, Research Scholars, Graduate students, Faculty, and a formal qualification relating to Management representatives, Quality Managers, Engineers, and Consultants.
INSTRUCTOR’S PROFILE:
Mr. Khalid Latif carries over 30 years of experience at Leadership positions in multi-national companies including Hoechst, Schering Rhône-Poulenc, and Bayer. Participated in various professional training courses and medium-term assignments/projects from manufacturing facilities of parent companies in Europe and Asia-Pacific countries.
Attended professional courses and management training for various institutions including Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan Institute of Management, American Management Institute, Institute of Business Management, etc.
Under the University-Industry interaction seminar series, he delivers lectures on various technical and social subjects including Health Safety & Environment, Career Counselling, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Development, and Processional Integrity at multiple institutions in Pakistan.
